My name is Omer Eyimen. I m 50 years old and come from a small mountain town near Malatya in East - Central Turkey. 35 years ago I learned to restore carpets and kilims and began to appreciate the skills of the women weavers and

especially the great beauty of the older pieces. Little by little I began collecting them. moved to İstanbul with my family and set up a repair shop in 1980 .than I moved to a new shop inthe Arasta Bazaar in the end of  2000.year. Over the years I have collected and sold a large and varying range carpets   and kilims   as well as the other textlies and artifacts from the west and central asian region .


The shops in Arasta Bazaar. Also known as the cavalry Bazaar, were converted from the old ottoman Empire stables.

The selection I offer is very diverse and affortdable but the emphasis is always on fine quality.
